Key responsibilities
- Responsible for selling blown film, cast film, and sheet extrusion lines in the assigned region and for achieving the defined sales targets
- Schedule own customer appointments and coordinate appointments for key projects together with the Sales Managers of the Business Units
- Identify and target new and existing customers, proactively develop accounts, and maintain strong, long-term business relationships
- Understand customers’ needs, translate them into technical requirements, and discuss them with the supplying Business Units
- Present and explain technical and commercial proposals to customers in a convincing manner in order to negotiate sales contracts and close deals
- Systematically analyze and develop sales figures together with the sales departments in Germany, also taking competitors’ activities into account
- Represent Reifenhäuser at trade fairs and technical conferences and deliver professional presentation
Your profile
-
Degree in a technical discipline preferred (e.g. engineering, machinery, plastics, or other technology-driven sectors) or comprehensive and versatile on-the-job experience
- Proven track record of success in sales roles within the investment goods sector, ideally in the plastics machinery industry
- Ideally: Experience with extrusion or plastics processing equipment, preferably with Reifenhäuser’s product portfolio and comparable solutions in the market
- Strong understanding of the North American market and its customer landscape, preferably with experience in managing a sales region or territory
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities in a defined sales region, and collaborate effectively in an international team environment
- Fluency in English and a high willingness to travel frequently within North America
