Your key responsibilities
- Starting with up to 18 months of training in our Blown Film Unit in Worms, followed by a structured introduction to the US market
- Provide professional and disciplinary guidance and manage the sales team to achieve the set goals. This includes guiding and coaching the team in order to develop customer accounts and individual projects as well as to ensure that tasks are accomplished, and measures are conducted.

Develop a sales strategy with a clear focus on product, price, place, and promotion for North America together with the business units in Germany

Systematically develop the sales region via contributing to the definition and execution of the company’s sales strategy to maintain a sustainable order income.

Understand customer’s needs, translate them into technical requirements and discuss them with the supplying business units, compose technical proposals and build sales prices, explain proposals to the customer in a convincing manner, negotiate sales contract and close deals.

Identify and target new and existing customers, develop, and maintain a strong and long-term relationship.

Maintain a close relationship to the technical and sales teams in our German Business Units

Represent Reifenhäuser during exhibitions and technical conferences, conduct presentations and be the face of Reifenhäuser in North America.

Work together with the team leaders for service, spare parts and modifications in order to develop and maintain a comprehensive customer-focused service strategy that supports sales activities.
Your profile

Proven sales experience in the plastics industry, in plastics machinery or capital goods (preferably in extrusion related industries), preferably with first leadership responsibility or clear potential for a leadership role.

Demonstrated strong sales talent with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to engage effectively with customer stakeholders on all levels

Strong entrepreneurial drive and strategic mindset, with the willingness to build and expand our business in a sustainable, long-lasting manner
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously; able to work both indipendently and collaboratively within an international team environment
- High level of self-motivation, resilience and hands-on mentality

Excellent English skills are required; German language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to relocate to or in Germany for the initial training phase and, subsequently, to the United States for the long-term position
- Willingness to travel frequently within North America and regularly to Germany for continuous training and close exchange with our business units
